Ten healthy adults carried out a task of free creation with LEGO bricks (a task a) and a task of repetitive attachment and removal of LEGO bricks (a task b), and the status of activation of the prefrontal cortex was examined with fNIRS system with 22 channels. As a result, widespread activity was observed during task a, while less activity was observed in task b.
