Subjects: Subjects were 30 members of rehab-related staff working at a hospital affiliated with this university (14 men, age 24.3±1.9; 16 women, age 26.3±4.3). Method: A questionnaire was administrated, with items concerning social media usage conditions, frequency of social media use, password management, experiences with posting pictures of people, whether consent to post was given by people pictured, image rights, awareness of copyright infringement, awareness of internet fraud, etc. Results: It was found that rehab-related staff members frequently use multiple forms of social media in their daily lives, and it was confirmed that present measures against leakage of personal information are insufficient. Conclusions: It was observed that the knowledge of rehab staff regarding leakage of personal information through social media use is insufficient, as are present measures to counteract leakage. This was particularly pronounced regarding password management and obtaining consent to post from people pictured.
