Therefore, we investigated the comprehension of university students of the relationship between human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer.\nMethods: The subjects were 804 students of FY2014 in the School of Health Sciences at Fukuoka, International University of Health and Welfare. The survey was conducted using questionnaire forms.\nResults: Based on the results of the questionnaires asked of men and women, comprehension of the relationship between HPV and cervical cancer, screening, and vaccine was found to be low. Particularly, the comprehension was remarkably low in departments other than Medical Technology and Sciences. In addition, the results from the questions asked of only females revealed that many subjects in all departments had a low awareness of cervical cancer screening and had not known about the coupon tickets (free coupons available for cervical cancer screening) or the contents of the examination.\nConclusions: This survey revealed that knowledge and interest concerning HPV and cervical cancer screening are very low in students in the School of Health Sciences at Fukuoka, International University of Health and Welfare. Despite the interdepartmental differences, it is necessary to provide lectures and seminars for all students to increase knowledge and interest across all departments.", "subitem_description_type": と子宮頸癌との関連性，検診やワクチンについての理解度が低く，特に医学検査学科以外の学科で理解度が顕著に低いことが明らかとなった．また，女性のみの質問の結果では全学科で子宮頸癌検診の内容やクーポン券について知らない学生が多いことが明らかとなった．\n結論：本調査より，国際医療福祉大学 福岡保健医療学部に在籍する学生のHPV
