| 内容記述 | 医薬品の適正使用については,WHO の 「Rational Drug Use」が2002 年に提唱されている。しかし,医療用医薬品において,適切な患者に適切に使用されるように開発されているかは疑問な点が多々ある。著者らは,現代の多様性ある社会に多発しているストレス関連疾患である,消化性潰瘍と中枢神経系疾患のうつ病を取り上げ,その患者数と医薬品の供給量を概観した。またこれに社会的ストレス要因の変化を,欧米と比較して,これら薬剤が,我々が提唱している「Rational and Optimal Drug Use and Education」というモデルに当てはめて,適切に使用されているかについて検証・評価した。その結果,消化性潰瘍用剤においては,疾患発生に比較し十分すぎる供給がされているにもかかわらず,うつ病を中心とした中枢神経用剤の供給量は欧米に比し,十分な状況とはいえないと考えられた。これらの原因のひとつとしては,医薬品開発の歪みとともに,日本の社会的・文化的な背景があると考えられた。 | |||||

| 内容記述 | Rational drug use has been proposed by WHO, in 2002. However, among ethical drugs, whether their development and usage is appropriate or not is quite questionable in the world including Japan.The target of our research is two types of stress-related diseases, CNS one including the depression and ulcer.And the correlations between the number of patients and the amount of drug supply, focusing on anti-ulcer drug and anti-CNS one, have been analyzed.In addition, the comparison between the change of the social stress factors in Japan and in Western countries concerning stress-related disease has also been analyzed.This evaluation is conducted by applying model of "Rational and appropriate drug use and education" we have been proposing.As a result, anti-ulcer drug in Japan has been developed and been enough supplied incontrast to the insufficient supply for the anti-CNS drug compared with those of Western countries.The main reason for this contradiction is the social background and attitude toward the disease in Japan in addition to the time-lag approval by regulatory authority. | |||||
