The gender ratio of graduate students was calculated by investigating their MSc thesis. Research fields were divided into seven specialized fields (Basic Physical Therapy Sciences; Neurology; Orthopedic Physical Therapy; Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Metabolic Disease; Support of Life; Physical Agents; and Education and Management) based on the Japanese Physical Therapy Association continuing education program.\nResults: Among the participants, 80.2% were male and 19.8% were female; 7.2% were international students. The rate of Basic Physical Therapy Sciences; Neurology; Orthopedic Physical Therapy; Cardiovascular, Pulmonary, and Metabolic Disease; Support of Life; Physical Agents; and Education and Management was 49.2%, 6.8%, 15.5%, 10.1%, 13.0%, 1.9%, and 3.5%, respectively.\nConclusion: Among the MSc Physical Therapy course students, there were more male students than female students.
