The reliability and validity of the scale were examined using Cronbach’s α coefficient and based on its relationship with analogous concepts, respectively.\nResults: The analysis results were classified into the following three categories: “the ability to implement reminiscence therapy while giving consideration to the elderly with dementia”, “the ability to encourage the participating elderly to become involved in social activities, and “the ability to enhance the skills of individual elderly people”, and a scale consisting of 35 items was developed.
