We wrote down our instruction scenes on field notes, recorded ourselves giving instructions and inter-viewing the students before and after they practiced taking vital signs, and reflected on our teaching in accordance with reflective cycles. We qualitatively and inductively analyzed our reflections on 13 instruction scenes.\nResult: From an analysis of the reflective cycle, we extracted three core categories “being conscious of instructions that encourage students to think about reaching a training goal.” “making use of instructors, experience in giving instructions to students”, and “difference of way of thinking between instructors and students because of not accepting students and trying to instruct in a hurry”\nConclusion: We found that instructors need to guide students by reflecting at all times on how they are teaching so as to avoid causing a difference between their goals and those of their students.
