The program aims to enable nursing students to develop the nursing skills required when they begin employment, and to prepare them to deal with multiple tasks so that they can quickly adapt themselves to clinical situations. We carried out four days of training with 38 fourth grade students, just before their graduation. During the training, various tasks were gradually added to comprise 19 carefully chosen items, each of which required nursing skills. The three types of research we employed to verify the educational intervention effect were: 1; a quantitative analysis of their scores from the skills on the checklist, 2; a qualitative analysis of the free description on their day-to-day study subjects, and 3; a qualitative analysis of the review sheets given on the fourth day. The results showed that the following three categories are best chosen for dealing with multiple tasks: [having high priority in terms of urgency],[treatment or care in a specified period of time], and [physical anguish such as pain].
