| 内容記述 | 目的：知的能力障害のない自閉スペクトラム症児（Autism Spectrum Disorder：ASD）における語の意味理解の特徴を語の意味関連タスクから明らかにし，語‒絵マッチングによる語彙理解および感覚処理との関連性を調べる．<br/> 対象：ASD群は5～6歳児10名，対照群は同年齢の定型発達児（Typical Development：TD）10名で，「絵画語い発達検査（Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised：PVT-R）」の評価点（Scaled Score：SS）が8以上の児であった．<br/> 方法：「語の意味関連タスク」を作成し実施した．意味的関連性は感覚，行為，場面・場所，カテゴリを取り上げ，質問形式で2語を提示し，意味的に関連するかを答えてもらった．感覚処理は日本版感覚プロファイル（Sensory Profile：SP）を実施した．<br/> 結果：ASD群は語の意味関連タスクの正答数がTD群より有意に少なかったが，意味関連別にみると有意差があったのは感覚関連であった．また同タスクの成績とPVT-R，およびSPのスコアの間に有意な相関を認めなかった．<br/> 結論：ASD児は感覚に関する語の意味的関連性の理解が低いと推察される．またASD児にはPVT-Rは通過しても，語の意味的関連性の理解が困難な児が存在すると考えられる． |

| 内容記述 | Purpose: To clarify the characteristics of word meaning comprehension in children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) but without other intellectual disabilities using a word meaning association task, and to examine the relationship between word comprehension and sensory processing by matching words and pictures. Subjects: An ASD group consisting of 10 children aged 5‒6 years, and a control group consisting of 10 normal children (typical development: TD) of the same age having a scaled score of 8 or higher on the Picture Vocabulary Test-Revised (PVT-R). Methods: A “word meaning association task”was created and administered. For semantic associations, participants were asked whether word pairs were semantically related, focusing on sensations, actions, scenes/places, and categories. Sensory processing was assessed using the Japanese Sensory Profile (SP). Results: The ASD group had significantly fewer correct answers in the word semantic association task than the TD group, but when looking at semantic associations, the most significant difference was in sensory associations. Moreover, no significant correlation was found between performance on this task and PVT-R or SP scores. Conclusion: Children with ASD appear to have a poor understanding of the semantic relationships of sensory words. It is also believed that while children with ASD may pass the PVT-R, some may have difficulty understanding the semantic relationships between words. |
