| 内容記述 | 目的：我が国は超高齢社会に突入し，核家族化の進行や人口の都市集中，地域の高齢化，高齢者世帯の増加により，介護形態も変化している．そこで，本研究の目的は，遠距離介護を行う家族介護者が認識する介護の内容を明らかにすることである．<br/ > 方法：遠距離介護を行う家族介護者に半構造化面接行い，内容分析を実施した．<br/ > 結果：遠距離介護の内容は，5つのカテゴリー【心身の変化の見極め】【資源を活用した環境作り】【今の生活を継続するための介護】【心の距離を縮める】【介護者自身の生活を守る】が生成された．<br/ > 結論：遠距離介護者は，生活の工夫を行いながら老親だけの生活が維持するために関わり，老親の心身の状態を把握し，状況に応じて必要な支援を提供しようとしていた．しかし，老親との連絡が取れず情報が不足していると，見極めの判断が難しくなる場合もあった．今後はタイムリーな情報交換や心身の状態を見極め，適切な介護サービスの導入や検討を行うことが重要である．これにより，遠く離れて住む老親の意思決定支援が促進され，今の老親の生活をより長く継続できる可能性が高まると示唆された． |

| 内容記述 | Purpose: Japan has become a hyperaged society; nuclear families are increasingly common, populations are concentrated in urban areas, smaller communities are aging, single senior citizen household numbers are increasing, and care is changing. This study aimed to analyze and clarify the perception of long-distance caregiving, in which long-distance caregivers commute to care for elderly parents who live far away.<br/ > Methods: Semi-structured interviews were conducted with people who have experience as long-distance caregivers. A content analysis was employed to investigate the data.<br/ > Results: We interviewed eight participants about long-distance caregiving, and their data were sorted into five categories: assessing changes in parents’mental and physical condition, creating an environment for their parents that makes use of resources, long-distance caregiving to prolong parents’lives, fostering a sense of closeness, and maintaining long-distance caregivers’daily routines.<br/ > Conclusion: Long-distance caregivers tried to be involved in maintaining their aging parents’lives apart from them while devising ways of living that serve their needs. They also understand their parents’physical and mental conditions and provide the necessary support according to the situation. However, when contact with the elderly parent is not well-established and information is lacking, it is sometimes difficult for them to make discerning judgments. In the future, it will be important to share information in a timely manner, to assess their physical and mental conditions, and introduce or consider appropriate care services. This will promote decision-making support for elderly parents who live far away from their adult children and increase the possibility that they will be able to continue living as they choose for a longer period. |
