| 内容記述 | 目的：本研究の目的は，副看護部長の重要な役割を明らかにし，今後の看護管理者教育への示唆を得ることである． 方法：今回は副看護部長の重要な役割ということから，副看護部長の経験が1年以上あり，中規模病院の看護部長職に就いている者，5名を対象に看護副部長の時に重要だと思った役割について，半構造化面接を行い，質的記述的に分析した． 結果：副看護部長の役割は【看護部長の悩みに寄り添う支援】【看護部の教育的立場】【看護部長と看護師長の中 間の存在】【指示待ちでなく企画提案者となる】【病院全体を視野に入れて考える】【他部門との交渉や調整】が示された． 結論：副看護部長の重要な役割は，看護部組織内部に関わる役割だけではなく，病院組織全体に関わる役割を踏まえた看護管理者の役割について学習することが重要だと考える． |

| 内容記述 | Objective: The study aims at clarifying significant roles of assistant director of nursing to obtain suggestions for improvement of nursing director education. Methods: The significance of assistant director’s roles in nursing services was focused in this study, and a series of semi-structured interview sessions were conducted on five participants assuming the responsibility of director of nursing, who have a year and above experiences as assistant directors of nursing department in the medium-sized hospital, to analyze their responses qualitatively and descriptively. Results: Roles of assistant director of nursing were identified as follows; “to support the director of nursing to solve problems,” “to set educational examples in the nursing department,”“as a liaison between the director of nursing and head nurse,”“of a planner and proposer, not someone awaiting instructions,”“to take the best interest of the whole hospital into consideration,” and “of negotiation and adjustment with other departments.” Conclusion: Results indicated that the significant roles of the assistant director of nursing suggest that the nursing director education should include not only the roles at the nursing department but also those associated with operations of the whole hospital organization. |
