The needs for health guidance during pregnancy were mainly weight management, the course of pregnancy, and childcare techniques. While 90% of the respondents were interested in infectious diseases passing from mother to child, the attendance rate of health guidance was 20%, and CMV had the lowest recognition rate. The sources of information were diverse, including the Web and television. The research conducted in Stage II showed that, in the health guidance, midwives were only able to deal with infectious diseases passing from mother to child on an individual basis, and there was a negative tendency that midwives acted depending on the policy of the facility and the division of roles between them and doctors. This research also found that recently pregnant and parturient women have done too much independent research on the Internet and have been confused by the flood of information. This reflects the current situation during the COVID-19 pandemic where it is difficult to provide face-to-face health guidance, which forces people to rely on the Web.
