GGHE as a share of GDP and OOPS as a share of THE were extracted from the World Health Organizationʼs Global Health Expenditure Database. We fitted linear mixed effects models to estimate the effects on the incidence of CHE associated with the two exposure variables.\nResults: We collected 37 articles estimating 142 incidences of CHE in 71 countries. The median incidence of CHE was 4.3%. After adjustments, the decline in the incidence of CHE was significantly associated with an increase in GGHE as a share of GDP (coefficient: -0.207, p-value: 0.049, 95% confidence interval (CI): -0.413 to 0.000), but not with a reduction of OOPS as a share of THE. The adjusted effects were not significant for a subgroup analysis based on income levels.\nConclusion: The decline in the incidence of CHE was associated with an incremental change in GGHE as a share of GDP after adjustment in the MDGs era. Further studies with a more balanced panel dataset of the incidence of CHE are needed in the Sustainable Development Goals era.","subitem_description_language":"en","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10001_full_name_3":{"attribute_name":"著者別名","attribute_value_mlt":[{"affiliations":[{"affiliationNames":[{"lang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ISNI","nameIdentifierURI":"http://www.isni.org/isni/"}]}]},{"affiliations":[{"affiliationNames":[{"lang":"ja"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifierScheme":"ISNI","nameIdentifierURI":"http://www.isni.org/isni/"}]}]}]},"item_10001_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"国際医療福祉大学学会","subitem_publisher_language":"ja"}]},"item_10001_radio_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_radio_item":"publisher","subitem_radio_language":"en"}]},"item_10001_source_id_11":{"attribute_name":"書誌レコードID(NCID)","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"AA12537130","subitem_source_identifier_type":"NCID"}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"21863652","subitem_source_identifier_type":"PISSN"}]},"item_1691121572803":{"attribute_name":"出版タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"田中,豪人","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"タナカ,タケト","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"TANAKA,Taketo","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"和田,耕治","creatorNameLang":"ja"},{"creatorName":"ワダ,コウジ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"},{"creatorName":"WADA,Koji","creatorNameLang":"en"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2022-09-26"}],"displaytype":"simple","filename":"27_2(43-54p).pdf","filesize":[{"value":"472.7 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"本文(PDF)","url":"https://iuhw.repo.nii.ac.jp/record/1254/files/27_2(43-54p).pdf"},"version_id":"ffdf5a50-8d63-4971-aa24-d4904f946c50"}]},"item_keyword":{"attribute_name":"キーワード","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_subject":"catastrophic out-of-pocket health expenditure,","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"Sustainable Development Goals, universal health coverage","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"universal health coverage","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"health system strengthening","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"low- and middle-income countries","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"},{"subitem_subject":"panel data analysis","subitem_subject_language":"en","subitem_subject_scheme":"Other"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"To what extent did the government investment in health reduce households’ catastrophic out-of-pocket health expenditure in the Millennium Development Goals era?
