We attempted to restore their ability to stand and walk, which was complicated by a 4-year history of posterior cortical atrophy (PCA).\nMethods: PCA caused higher brain dysfunction, mainly visuospatial cognitive impairment, in the patient, which led to difficulty understanding instructions and situations. At 41 days post fracture, the patient had invasion and disuse muscle atrophy.
