 note = {目的：就労しながら親の介護をするシングル介護者の健康関連 QOL を退院後 1 か月時と 3 か月時で比較し健康関連 QOL の変化を考察する．
方法：退院後 1 か月時と 3 か月時の 2 時点において質問紙調査を行った．対象者の基本属性と労働時間と介護時間など，被介護者の介護度および認知度などを調査した．健康関連 QOL の測定には SF-8TM を使用し退院後 1 か月時および 3 か月時の比較をした．
結果：1 日の介護時間の 1 か月時の平均値（以下 Mean）は 270.8 分 / 日，標準偏差（以下 SD）は 249.0 分 / 日，3 か月時の Mean は 317.5 分 / 日，SD は 295.4 分 / 日と介護時間が有意に増えていた（p＜0.01）．健康関連 QOLにおける精神的サマリースコアの 1 か月時の Mean は 41.9 点，SD は 8.9 点，3 か月時の Mean は 42.9 点，SD は 8.1点で有意差な差はなかった．身体的サマリースコアの 1 か月時の Mean は 47.5 点，SD は 9.6 点，3 か月時のMean は 45.9 点，SD は 9.4 点で有意な差はなかった．
考察：シングル介護者は身体面より精神面の健康関連 QOL が低下している状態であった．このことはシングル介護者のみではなく在宅介護を行う介護者に共通の問題であることがわかった．, Purpose: The present study compared the health-related quality of life (QOL) of single caregivers who are working and caring for their parents one month and three months after hospital discharge, and examined the changes in health-related QOL.
Methods: Questionnaire surveys were conducted at two time points: one month and three months after hospital discharge. We collected information such as basic attributes, working hours, and care hours of the subjects as well as the level of care and awareness of the persons receiving the care. Health-related QOL was assessed using the 8-item short-form health survey (SF-8TM), and the scores measured one and three months after hospital discharge were compared.
Results: The mean daily care hours at one month were 270.8 min/day and the standard deviation (SD) was 249.0 min/day. At three months, the mean daily care hours were 317.5 min/day and the SD was 295.4 min/day. There was a significant increase(p＜0.01) in care hours. The mean mental summary score of the health-related QOL at one month was 41.9 points (SD: 8.9 points), and the mean at three months was 42.9 points (SD: 8.1 points), showing no significant difference. The mean physical summary score was 47.5 points at one month (SD: 9.6 points), and the mean at three months was 45.9 points (SD: 9.4 points), showing no significant difference.
Conclusion: The mental health-related QOL was lower in the single caregivers compared to the physical health-related QOL. We found that this is a common issue, not only in single caregivers, but also among caregivers who provide care at home.},
